Fail2ban is an intrusion prevention software framework. Written in the Python programming language, it is designed to prevent against brute-force attacks. It is able to run on POSIX systems that have an interface to a packet-control system or firewall installed locally, such as iptables or TCP Wrapper. | From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tor Geoip Tools isn't a whole system, is a class to help in what to do with IPs, countrys, network address segments, among other relevant data collected. In that class, an utility (and demonstrative) method suggests to block IP segments using Iptables; I expect people doing descendant classes making more and clever methods to fit special requirements.
