Don't mean to be a stickler, just trying to help out. Your example script has the line --
echo $wordtonumber->convertToNumbers("fourty five million"); // should return 45000000
-- "fourty" is not the correct English spelling of the word, the correct way is "forty". So either your example is wrong or the class needs modified. Sorry.
This is a fantastic class I'm looking forward to using.

Thank you so much for pointing out an important typo error. The error was fixed in example as well as in the base class.
