This package can implement hooks and filters like in WordPress.

It provides a class that can register callback hook functions for given actions, as well filters for specific actions that can be called when those actions happen in an application.

The package also provides global functions with the same names and functionality to those provided in WordPress for registering and calling hooks and filters.

Whooks is a standalone object oriented port of WordPress Hooks Library. Apart from the object oriented code, whooks also has polyfill for Wordpress hooking functions.

Install via composer

composer require mirazmac/whooks
